예수 탄생

사람이 된 불꽃

별들의 숨결을 품은 하늘의 왕자가
불꽃 같은 빛줄기 되어
마른 땅을 딛는 여인의 숨결 속으로 스며들고
메마른 심장을 적시는 새벽의 샘물로 태어났습니다

하늘의 무리들이 노래하던 그 빛이
마른 짚 냄새나는 어두운 구유로부터
짙은 그늘 속으로 내려와
짓눌린 숨결, 메마른 울음이 가득한 땅 위에
따뜻한 한 줄기 불빛으로 피어났습니다

그는 미소로 사람들의 아픔을 감쌌고
눈물로 무릎 꿇은 자 옆에 앉아
물을 포도주의 기쁨으로 물들이고
병든 마음속에 새 생명을 불어넣었습니다

피 흘리고 무덤에 들어갔다가
신성한 새처럼 하늘로 날아갔습니다
동시에 지금,
내 영과 하나 되어 내 안에 계십니다

안개 속에 무릎 꿇은 이들에게
그는 별빛처럼 조용히 다가와
손을 잡고 함께 걷습니다
내 빈 그릇엔 새벽마다
새들의 노래 같은 물이 채워지고
나는 어둔 창가의 작은 등불로 다시 빛납니다

The Flame Who Became Man

The Prince of Heaven, holding the breath of stars,
Turned into a fiery streak of light,
Flowing into the breath of a woman walking the dry land,
Born as the dawn’s spring, moistening parched hearts.

That Light, whom heavenly hosts sang to,
Descended from a dark manger, scented with dry straw,
Into deep shadow,
And bloomed as a warm ray of light
Upon a land full of oppressed breaths and parched cries.

He wrapped people's pain with a smile,
Sat beside those who knelt in tears,
Dyeing water with the joy of wine,
And breathed new life into sickened hearts.

He bled and entered the grave,
Then flew to the heavens like a divine bird.
And even now,
He is within me, one with my spirit.

To the ones kneeling in the mist,
He quietly approaches like starlight,
Takes their hand and walks with them.
My empty vessel is filled every dawn
With water like the song of birds,
And I shine again as a small lamp by the dark window.
